Armidale is located in northern New South Wales, Australia and is located about halfway between Sydney and Brisbane. Armidale has four distinct seasons, and although each offers its own distinct features, summer is arguably the nicest time to visit the area. Students interested in English school in Armidale will be pleased to know that Armidale is known for its excellent academic institutions and yet is situated in an area that is just steps away from great outdoor adventures. While in the city, students taking English courses in Armidale will have plenty of activities to keep them busy: they can enjoy Armidale's many parks and gardens, feed kangaroos the University, head to a museum, or enjoy the active nightlife. For students who wish to explore outside of the city, taking a trip to the Wollomombi Falls and/or the New England National Park is well worth the trip; both are World Heritage listed sites.
