Preparation for DELF A1, A2, and B1
In preparing for the A1, A2, B1 exams you will follow the general French intensive programme GR 20 in the mornings, plus you will have three afternoons of group lessons dedicated specifically to exam preparation. It is essential that you do homework to give yourself the best advantage in the exam. The pass rate at the school is 98 %. The Director and the Director of studies have been members of the board of DELF examiners since its foundation in the Alpes-Maritimes. It is possible to sit these exams in Cannes. All relevant information will be given to you upon arrival at the International House school. We recommend that you enroll before your arrival due to the strict terms and conditions of the examinations. Price of exam is €105 but is not included in price of course. Exam dates for 2012 are as follows: March 14,15,16; May 23, 24, 25; June 20, 21, 22; July 18,19,20 (No DELF A1 Exam in July); September 19,20,21 (No DELF A1 Exam in September); November 12,13,14; December 3,4,5.

The DELF/DALF Exams Course prepares on three different levels for the DELF B1, DELF B2 and DALF C1 exam. The French language courses consists of the Standard Course + 60 additional lessons special exams training over the last 6 weeks prior to the exam. Students staying for more than 6 weeks (recommended stay for the preparation is 8 to 12 weeks) start in the 30 lessons Intensive Course which also covers all aspects of the exam. The preparation for DELF A1 and DELF A2 takes place in the Intensive Course, which covers all aspects of these exams. DALF C2 can be prepared in the Combination Course. Note that during the summer high season, some Intensive and Standard courses are only available in the afternoon.
