This part-time course offers students who are intending to work in the UK or abroad the language and communications skills required to achieve success in their current and future professional life.<br><br>
The course takes place on Monday to Thursday afternoons and focuses on transferable communication skills which are relevant to learners from a range of business backgrounds such as management, finance, manufacturing, sales and marketing, tourism and hospitality, etc. The core skills areas are meetings, negotiations, presentations, telephoning, report writing and email. The course also covers a range of topics appropriate to international business such as cross-cultural relations, human resources, globalisation, IT, web2.0, developing markets, recession & growth, etc. <br><br>
Learning objectives include:<br>

This full-time course offers students who are intending to work in the UK or abroad the language and communications skills required to achieve success in their current and future professional life.<br><br>
This is a full-time course with 25 hours of classes each week, combining 15 hours of General English in the morning, with 10 hours of Business English in the afternoons.<br><br>
In the mornings you will study a balanced mix of the four skills (speaking, listening , reading and writing) and the four systems (grammar, vocabulary, functions and pronunciation) with a strong emphasis on practical every day communication. There are also regular fedback sessions so you can discuss with your teacher what you would like to do. <br><br>
In the afternoons you will study Business English including:<br>
-Core business communication skills: meetings, negotiations, presentations, telephoning, reports,
email <br>
-Transferable skills relevant to a range of business backgrounds e.g. management, finance, sales
and marketing, tourism and hospitality <br>
