LSI Toronto is located in the downtown residential neighbourhood of Rosedale. With its tree-lined streets, parks, shops and restaurants, it is one of the most beautiful areas of Toronto. The school – just two blocks from the Rosedale subway station – is modern, comfortable, and designed to accommodate up to 250 students. Whether students are here on their own or with a group, the convenient location will allow them to get to and from school quickly and easily. On supervised after-school trips, they can hop on the TTC and within twenty minutes be enjoying the bustling shopping district of Queen Street West or the peaceful beauty of the Beach. They may also join in a friendly game of soccer or tennis just down the street.
Toronto, which is the capital of Ontario and the most populated city in Canada has a moderately sized downtown with a huge surrounding metropolitan area. There really might be something for everyone in Toronto -- for the hockey lover, there's the Hockey Hall of Fame, shoppers can enjoy the St. Laurence Market, baseball fans can enjoy a Major League Baseball Blue Jays game, and explorers can investigate the winding staircases of Casa Loma, a majestic mansion on a hill that overlooks the city. Students interested in taking English courses in Toronto will be pleased to know that in addition to tons of great restaurants and shops in Toronto, there are plenty of ongoing festivals to experience during their stay as well. Visitors and students at an English school in Toronto can enjoy the International Toronto Film Festival, the Taste of Danforth, or the Caribana festival (a celebration of steel pan music and Caribbean culture) throughout the year.
