The school is situated just 10 minutes north of Oxford's city centre and has a beautiful garden and courtyard at the back of the building: the perfect area for summer barbeques and sporting activities.
Oxford is a world famous university town located a little over an hour west of London. The oldest colleges at Oxford University date back almost 750 years, and the general tone of the city itself is fairly conservative. Students interested in studying English courses in Oxford will be surrounded by plenty of other students and history in an intellectually stimulating environment. Of the many colleges and English schools in Oxford, some are open to tourists, while others stay closed to the public at all times. Visitors can check the individual schools, but touring at least one of the colleges during your stay comes highly recommended! One location that is open to the public is The Bodleian: one of the oldest libraries in Europe, The Bodleian is the main research library of the University of Oxford. The many museums of Oxford are also a great destination to explore, including the Ashmolean Museum which is the oldest public museum in England and the Oxford Museum of Natural History are two popular stops.
