Lake School of English: Oxford Summer Intensive General English Interactive and focused classroom activities will give you the opportunity to practice grammatical structures and new vocabulary in a relaxed supportive environment. You will receive personal attention; your teachers plan their lessons carefully to suit the needs, interests and learning styles of their students, so they provide the right balance of skills, vocabulary and grammar. Different teachers have different styles of teaching, but the Lake School 'style of teaching' is dynamic and communicative. In class you will often work in pairs or small groups so you have the chance to speak as much English as possible. Teachers and students take their studies seriously and work very hard, but you will also have a lot of fun in class. You will receive all the materials you need to use in class; but please bring a notebook with you. You will have homework every night and a revision test at the end of each week, which will help you monitor your own progress. Intensive 50854 . Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

If you are studying in the UK for over 6 months, you will receive a reference number called a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) that you need to submit to the UK embassy along with your General Student Visa application. Students who have successfully booked a language course and have paid their fees will receive a CAS from Lake School of English. Please note that UK law states that a CAS can only be issued to students who intend to pursue English language studies for over 6 months.

If you are studying in the UK for 6 months or less, you have to apply for a special visitor visa called a Student Visitor Visa. As a student visitor, you will not be able to work part-time while studying. If you plan to study in the UK for 6 months or less, a letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged £ 120 when you register.
