It consists of 20 hours tuition per week and the school offers ten levels of study which range from beginner to very advanced. The Instituto Cervantes manages the DELE Spanish language exams and it is internationally recognized as the official Spanish language exam for non-native speaking Spanish language speakers. There are three different options available at the DELE Spanish language exam: basic, intermediate, and advanced. International House: Barcelona Summer Courses for Teenagers with Host Family Single Full Board Our Spanish for teenagers course takes place in Tarragona, a pleasant coastal resort approximately 100 km south of Barcelona (86 km from the airport). Our course is designed to ensure that students enjoy their Spanish classes as much as they enjoy the rest of the course programme. Classroom activities are therefore varied and where possible involve tasks or games that make the learning process interesting and fun. The aim of the course is to develop the students' language skills in all areas but the emphasis is on developing speaking and comprehension skills, so there are a lot of practical activities that involve a great deal of interaction. As we have students from very many nationalities, it is relatively easy to ensure that everyone uses Spanish to communicate. The course includes 3 hours Spanish tuition per day, full board accommodation in host families, airport transfer from Barcelona airport on arrival and departure, and a varied and supervised program of activities and excursions.
