Course description

The Semi-Intensive English Program at ELC is designed to promote communicative competence in English and consists of Sections A and B. Section A is titled Grammar Structure & Usage and focuses not only on teaching students the rules for grammar usage, but also on giving students the opportunity to practice using grammar in both speaking and writing. Section B is Conversation & Listening on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and Vocabulary & Pronunciation on Tuesday and Thursday. Students practice speaking in English and listening to and understanding English spoken by native speakers. Teachers also give feedback and special exercises to help students improve pronunciation.
