Course description

Study in a Canadian High School for 2 months or more. A cost-effective way to improve English skills quickly and experience a different style of learning. After spending a semester abroad, students will change and see the word in a very new and exciting way.

​The Semester Abroad program is designed for high school students of all ages - from Grade 9 to 12. It is a great way to spend a short-time abroad in a very safe and caring environment.

Erindale delivers a modern, personalized, student focused Canadian High School curriculum, reinforced with English learner language courses for academic study in Honors Mathematics, Science and Technology. Our qualified teachers and management team draw on students’ interests, talents and learning styles to create an education that nurtures the whole student - academically, socially, and emotionally. It will be an amazing experience that will live with your student forever.

You will take a placement test on your first day to determine your class level. You may also take this test before your arrival in Mississauga.

Safe, clean homestays with experienced families that live close to the school. Students have a private room, 3 meals a day and wireless internet. Our Homestays are in a very safe suburb of Toronto. Students have access to public transit.

Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged C$ 125 when you register.

Flights and airport transfer

Please note that we do not book flights for our students. If you are researching airfare costs, we recommend using Kayak.com, a search engine that lets you compare flight options from your home country to Mississauga based on your budget, schedule and preferences.

Travel insurance

Study abroad worry-free with Language International's health and personal effects insurance coverage. When you book a course with us, you can opt to purchase an international insurance plan that covers not only your health care cost but also loss of your personal belongings. You must book your insurance in advance when you register.
