OPUS English Working Holiday (12 weeks)

Course description

The OPUS program combines our English language courses and job placement assistance. Improve your English speaking, listening, writing and reading skills plus gain customer service skills and Kaplan will assist you in finding part time work with 3 job interviews. OPUS Coordinators will pre-screen students, test their English language level and assess their approach to work to ensure that students are ready and well-suited for work in their chosen location. Students accepted onto the programme will benefit from group coaching and individual meeting preparation, application support and assistance with the official requirements to start work. OPUS students should have a valid student visa with work right, or a working holiday visa prior to starting their job placement in New Zealand.

Example work placements: Retail stores, cafés, restaurants, hotels (previous experience required for some roles), office/hotel cleaning, fruit picking/farm work.

Kaplan International College: Auckland does not hold classes on the holiday dates above. The school does not compensate for these holidays, so make sure to choose your start date accordingly.
