Hutong School's unique Chinese teaching method which separates spoken Chinese and character recognition, has been proven to expedite Chinese language learning. While progressing quicker in spoken Chinese, students also lay better foundations for character memorization by understanding the logic of Chinese characters' construction.

Hutong School Hangzhou is located in a stylish building in the city's new business district. It's conveniently located for expats already living in the city, as well as for students and interns on short-term stays. The school is surrounded by many shops and restaurants, and it's just a stone's throw from the iconic West Lake.
Student residences are more suitable for an independent student, who is looking for clean, basic accommodation at an economic price. All students must be 18 - 90. Your housing starts on the Sunday before your first day of class and ends on the Saturday after your last day of class, unless otherwise noted. Student residences often do not include any meal plan. We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.
Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged H$ 600 when you register.
