25 hour/week German course. Course Description: The intensive course covers all aspects of successful language learning developing your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. Project work and extra-curricular activities further enhance autonomous learning behaviour and German language use outside the classroom. The extra hour offered in our intensive course provides learners with ample opportunities to revise the course contents covered in the standard course and apply and practice German actively through dialogues, discussion groups, role plays or interactive games. Instruction is based on the stages of the CEFR (A1-C1) as well as additional exercises to practice the language and immersion of the material obtained in instruction. Private lessons can be booked additionally in the afternoon. Course Type: General German Course Duration: 1 to 52 weeks Course Instruction: 25 lessons per week / 45 min. each lesson Course schedule: Monday – Friday 8.30 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. including a 30 minute break, 12.15 to 1.00 pm Starting Dates: All levels: every Monday Absolute beginners: see specific starting dates Course Levels: levels A1-C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference Age Group: min. 17 years in summer Participants per class: 4 to 12 Culture and leisure program: We offer activities every week The Intensive Course 25 is appropriate for university students seeking university credits. These college credits will be granted for each 4 or 8 week course sessions successfully completed with a grade of C or above. Included in the course fee: * Written placement test before course begin * Personal consultation about appropriate level from academic advisors * Course goals, tests and study counseling * Self-learning phase through daily homework * Testing during course to monitor progress * Certificate at the end of the course * Afternoon videos * Culture and leisure program (except transportation & admission fee) * WiFi Internet access Exams: ih Heidelberg - Collegium Palatinum is an authorized examination center for telc Language Tests and TestDaF. You can take all tests in our institute. We offer training courses for these tests.
