Course description

Our language school is part of Europa School of English, accredited by the British Council for the teaching of English in the UK and a member of English UK, the world's leading language teaching association. Our summer English courses take place at our local school and during peak weeks we can use additional teaching facilities such as portacabins.

For a personalised approach, consider our Mini-Group English Course (20 lessons per week), Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 12:30 (including breaks).

Working in groups of up to 6 students, you will benefit from highly individualised lessons.
The course is based on the same concept as the Intensive English Course. Learning is tailored to the specific language needs of the students, working closely with the instructor to address the areas that interest you most.

Levels include Pre-Intermediate (A2), Intermediate (B1), Upper Intermediate (B2) and Advanced (C1).
If the mini-classes available do not match their level, students are placed in a general course for lessons 1-3 and receive a private lesson for lesson 4 to meet their specific needs.
All courses have a minimum duration of 1 week.

We offer an exciting and supervised programme of afternoon and evening activities, 7 days a week. Our friendly, international team of instructors with varied and diverse backgrounds, allows them to offer a wide range of expertise that will enrich your stay. The team organises a wide programme of activities full of sport, culture, creativity and cultural exchange, which will motivate you to join them. You will have different options to choose from in the afternoons, and in the evenings, you will be able to enjoy at least one big event with all your fellow students.

Your safety and well-being is our priority, so we have one supervisor for every 15 students aged 13-17, however group activities both on and off campus may have a different ratio, with one supervisor for every 25 students for ages 13-17, depending on the situation.

Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

If you are studying in the UK for over 11 months, you will receive a reference number called a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) that you need to submit to the UK embassy along with your General Student Visa application. Students who have successfully booked a language course and have paid their fees will receive a CAS from IP Bournemouth. Please note that UK law states that a CAS can only be issued to students who intend to pursue English language studies for over 11 months.

If you are studying in the UK for 11 months or less, you have to apply for a special visitor visa called a Student Visitor Visa. As a student visitor, you will not be able to work part-time while studying. If you plan to study in the UK for 11 months or less, a letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged £ 85 when you register.

Study abroad worry-free with Language International's health and personal effects insurance coverage. When you book a course with us, you can opt to purchase an international insurance plan that covers not only your health care cost but also loss of your personal belongings.
