EAC Language Schools: Hastings Hastings Junior Vacation Course (Ages 12-17) (Homestay Included) Our vacation courses provide 15 hours per week of English tuition. This is divided into 20 lessons of 45 minutes each. Lessons are taken daily Monday to Friday between 09.00 and 12.30 each morning or between 13.30 and 17.00 each afternoon. All our teachers are qualified and the tuition programmes focus on activating language, especially fluency skills (speaking and listening), vocabulary extension, grammar recycling and project work. All students are tested on their level of English on arrival and placed in appropriately graded study groups. Reports and certificates are issued at the end of the course. In those centres where homestay is available, students also have the choice of being accommodated with local hosts. All hosts are carefully selected and their homes inspected every two years. Living with a local host provides an ideal opportunity to get to know about the British way of life and to improve language skills through daily contact. It is unusual for hosts to be within walking distance of the college so students should expect to use public transport to get to and from the summer school centre. Junior 47564 . Мне нравиться сам город - Хэстингс. Это тихое и приятное место на берегу пролива. Мои хозяева гостеприимные и дружелюбные люди. В школе я занимаюсь с 2 учителями. Так как у меня индивидуальное обучение, то у меня нет никаких проблем с тем, что бы посвящать каждому вопросу столько времени, сколько нужно для его понимания. Учителя отлично преподают материал, мне все понятно. Иногда мы занимаемся за пределами класса, в музее , в Стром Городе. Это очень полезно для развития моих разговорных навыков. My owners are hospitable and friendly people. At school I take classes with 2 teachers. Since I have individual lessons, I have no problem with devoting as much time to each topic as I need. Teachers teach well, I understand everything. Sometimes we do have classes outside the school building: in a museum or in the in the Old Town. This is very useful for the development of my conversational skills. I like it!
