As a student, I felt quite disappointed about the experience at Kaplan, especially due to the classes. In fact, regarding the managing staff, I can only have positive words, as they were very grateful to me all the time. Nevertheless, the classes were by far different to what I expected. To start with, the major emphasis was placed on grammar and written skills, leaving less opportunities for oral activities. Such difficulty was even more evident the second week due to the arrival of new students, which made the group increase up to 15 students. Another important factor, was the methodology, if there was any. I guess that having 3 different teachers in 2 weekes cannot be very positive for the learning process either. To sum up, I'd like to emphasise the idea that -in my view- classes could have been more profitable than they were.

It was a very interesting experience that allowed me to improve my English and feel more confident with it. I really enjoied sharing time with my stepfamily.

I am lucky to choose you as agent for finding a good place for learning English in total English enveronment. Kaplan is a good school and Boston is also a very nice city for a new visitor. People around you, like teachers, management people of school, students, citizens are very kind, friendly. I like this high education city.

In general the experience is very good, but I think Kaplan needs to emphasize more on writing, that is one of the biggest challenges for a foreign student.

the school is good in general, location is perfect, teachers and staff at the reception are very friendly and proffessional. always ready to help and it's easy to communicate with all of them. facilities: it was a winter season but classes were cold, no plastic caps in the kithen (only for teachers in a separate locked box, which i found strange). i think it's not a big deal to supply students with plastic caps. only cold water in the restrooms, so after hand wash you can get even more colder than before... study; i expected to increase my speaking english but unfortunettely the classes structured in a very old manner - grammar from the morning and elective classes afternoon. i found that 15 people in the class is too crowdy so even if you choose ""conversation class"" there is absolutely no time for each student to speak enough. I heard from other students that they also don't have enough ""space"" to talk. in this manner, you need to spend at least 1 year in Kaplan to feel yourself some kind of confident talker... not in my case unfortunattely...
