Full Immersion

Course description

Full Immersion is our most intensive course designed for a one or two week duration. You will combine 40 One-to-One lessons in class with 15 hours out of class in the company of a private teacher.
By means of an interview on the first day, the course is designed specifically for you. The out of classroom activities are included and are arranged to suit your interests. For example, if you are interested in finance you may wish to visit Lloyds of London when studying at EC London.
Each day you have lunch with a teacher. You will also have 2 accompanied activities and an excursion each week to maximize your exposure to English and provide ‘real life’ opportunities in which to practice and improve your English skills out of the classroom.
Throughout your course your progress will be monitored and recorded. At the end of your course you will receive a linguistic profile detailing your strengths, weaknesses, what you have covered, how you have developed, what you now need to do to consolidate your learning and how to improve further after you have returned home.

Please note that the first day is mainly focused on pre-test and orientation
This is the timetable of the student:
08:30 - Student arrival and check-in
09:00 - Placement test and interviews
11:00 - Welcome breakfast and orientation with various EC staff members
12:00 - Welcome tour of school neighbourhood

Students taking courses with 20 or 24 lessons per week will not have class on the first day due to orientation, while those taking courses with 30 lessons per week will have two classes in the afternoon on the first day after orientation.

EC English Language Schools: London does not hold classes on the holiday dates above. The school does not compensate for these holidays, so make sure to choose your start date accordingly.
