"Kind people, good school for low level English speakers."

Jelle Liebrecht, student from Netherlands

If your English is good already you shouldn’t start a course at HLIC. But if you want to start with learning English it’s a really good school. I also feel the need to mention that there are no European students at HLIC, 99% of the students is from China. The school is owned by Chinese people so everything is based on their culture, keep that in mind. For me it was very nice because I like to learn more about other cultures.

Everything was amazing. I had a great experience with the study. Our teachers were very friendly and helpful. Students came to study from all over the world. I recognize a lot of new for myself, about the culture and tradition in their country. Also Halifax it’s a great place to visit.
Thanks to Matthew from ”language international” she helped me to prepare all of the papers.

"Excellent school."

Petr Kocian, student from Czech Republic

Housing was absolutely perfect. So perfect I do not have the right words to describe it. The host family was lovely, caring, fun to be with. Teachers were polite, professional and well-prepared. Facilities and location were excellent, tea was available. I liked the whole experience, I have nothing to criticise.

"It was amazing!"

Jessica Marti, student from Switzerland

I liked the school because it was little and cozy. My teachers were very nice. The school is in a shopping center of spring garden. We had an activity or a visit for every week. It was always interesting. My host mother was great. She was so nice and she cooked very well.
