Business French

Course description

The Business French course consists of 20 lessons of Standard French and 10 lessons of Business French per week. In the Standard French lessons, teachers focus on an interactive teaching method with the goals of expanding the students' vocabulary and knowledge of French culture and civilization; broadening his or her familiarity with grammar and its structures, as well as written expression of the French language; improving oral expression through group discussions, reading comprehension through the analysis and discussion of authentic documents and listening comprehension. In the Business French lessons-which occur three afternoons a week after Standard French- students cover topics including but not limited to current affaires, correspondences, making presentations, marketing and learning company structures. Note that during the summer high season, some Intensive and Standard courses are only available in the afternoon.
