Business French Course

Course description

With its focus on business in its environment, this course will help you move into professional contexts: sales correspondence, reports and reviews, presenting a company (location, organisational chart), job descriptions. Depending on the area you work in or would like to work in, our teacher will supply the appropriate documents in order to help you improve your business-specific vocabulary. The course also aims to develop the communicative and cultural skills necessary for you to successfully enter into a professional environment (writing a CV and accompanying letter, job interview). Students may greatly benefit by bringing their own general documents presenting their company, examples of internal communications or correspondence with customers. Since these documents may be of a confidential nature, BLS guarantees that no copies will be kept. Business French - objectives and methodology: focusing on business in its environment; work based on all types of company documents (sales correspondence, reports and reviews, internal e-mails, etc.); a cross-cultural approach enables a better understanding of the French way of conducting business. General French - objectives and methodology; the practice of spoken French in communicative situations and a cultural approach to the language; development of linguistic proficiency (written and oral expression / written and oral comprehension / interpersonal communication); communicative methods combining individual development and group dynamics (group work, role plays, etc.). Groups: single-level groups, 8 to 14* students maximum, ensure easy participation and a true group dynamic as well as individual attention from the teacher;*Occasionally, this number may be exceeded by up to 3 due to an unforeseen student placement.

BLS: Bordeaux does not hold classes on the holiday dates above. The school does not compensate for these holidays, so make sure to choose your start date accordingly.
