Business English Mini Group

Course description

Business English Mini-Group is an intensive course designed to help students make maximum progress during their stay. They will discuss relevant case studies, focusing on the needs of each specific student group. The course provides excellent networking opportunities and a chance to meet like-minded individuals from all over the world. Throughout the course teachers will monitor and record each student's progress. At the end of the course students will receive a linguistic profile detailing their strengths, weaknesses, what they have covered, how they have developed throughout the lessons, and how to improve further after they return home. Class times change depending on day of course. For example, day 1 lesson 9:00 AM-12:30 PM, day 2 lesson 1:00 PM-4:30 PM, day 3 lesson 9:00 AM-12:30 PM, day 4 lesson 1:00 PM-4:30 PM, etc.

Please note that the first day is mainly focused on pre-test and orientation
This is the timetable of the student:
08:30 - Student arrival and check-in
09:00 - Placement test and interviews
11:00 - Welcome breakfast and orientation with various EC staff members
12:00 - Welcome tour of school neighbourhood

Students taking courses with 20 or 24 lessons per week will not have class on the first day due to orientation, while those taking courses with 30 lessons per week will have two classes in the afternoon on the first day after orientation.

EC English Language Schools: Malta does not hold classes on the holiday dates above. The school does not compensate for these holidays, so make sure to choose your start date accordingly.
