IELTS & TOEFL
During the IELTS preparation course you will be given controlled and free practice in exam and non-exam conditions in the specific skills and language structures needed to complete and pass the IELTS exam. You will also develop your ability to complete the task by being given regular, detailed and individualised feedback. The duration varies from 6 to 13 weeks depending on the student’s level of English. To thoroughly prepare for the exam we always recommend a study period of 10 – 13 weeks. The courses consist of 20 group lessons in the morning in which you will perfect the four language skills (listening and speaking, reading and writing) and 10 private lessons in the afternoon which focus on exam preparation skills specific to your chosen exam. Full Immersion
Full Immersion is our most intensive course designed for a one or two week duration. You will combine 40 One-to-One lessons in class with 15 hours out of class in the company of a teacher. This course offers the most time spent with a teacher.

By means of an interview on the first day, the course is designed specifically for you. The out of classroom activities are included, and are arranged to suit your interests. For example, if you are interested in finance you may wish to visit Lloyds of London while studying English at EC London.
<BR><BR>
Each day you have lunch with your teacher. You will also have 2 accompanied activities and one excursion each week to maximise your exposure to English and provide ‘real-life’ opportunities in which to practise and improve your English skills out of the classroom. These are all included in the price.

Throughout your English course your progress will be monitored and recorded. At the end of your course you will receive a linguistic profile detailing your strengths, weaknesses, what you have covered, how you have developed, what you now need to do to consolidate your learning and how to improve further after you have returned home.
